He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Wilmes; and his grandparents, Alphonse "Barney" Wilmes, Norma Wilmes, Luke Patton and Doris Patton.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Wilmes; his siblings, Brett Wilmes, Sarah Merideth and Christine Wilmes; his siblings-in-law, Curtis Merideth, Jon Scorfina and Jennifer Wilmes; and his nieces and nephews, Oliva Wilmes, Kennedy Wilmes, Aubrey Merideth, Lucas Merideth and Jonas Merideth.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to: St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center or Harris House -St. Charles, Mo in Matt's name.
