Mary Ann Brakensiek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Brakensiek (Wentzville, Missouri), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wortmann and Evelyn Wortmann; and her sisters, Ethel Sommer, Kathleen Giesmann and Laverne Vehige.
She is survived by: her husband David Brakensiek; her children, Philip Brakensiek (Carla), Fred Brakensiek (Jill) and Jennifer Brakensiek; her grandchildren, Henry, Natalie, Anna and Matthew; and her siblings, Rosella Schneider, Lucille Rothermich, Virginia Reller, Millie Eisenbath, Margie Wortmann, Barbara Schneider (Marty), Carolyn Richardson, James Wortmann and Joseph Wortmann (Barb).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (8 Hwy D, New Melle, MO 63365).
