It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable Christine Matteson (Wentzville, Missouri), who passed away on June 28, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Lawrence D. "Pop" Matteson; her parents, Roy Cate and Ida Blanche Hudspeth; her stepparent Atha Hudspeth; her child Larry Wayne Matteson; her great grandchild Nikola Lerch; her siblings, Lucille Matteson (Richard) and Geraldine Dillon; and her stepsibling Lois N. Hudspeth.
She is survived by: her child Donna Jean Matteson; her grandchildren, Deanna Kuhn (Greg), Shon Matteson, Brandy Lerch (James), Alex Schupmann (Lindsay), Wendy Matteson, Kelly Matteson and Andrea Matteson; and her siblings, Virginia Bates (Vernon) and Rachel Powers (James).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mable's honor to the VFW Post 2866.
