She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald Meyerkord; her daughters, Melissa Jennings (Tim), Robin Meyerkord and Kelly Wetzler (Brad); her grandchildren, Tyler Jennings, Alexis Long (Tucker), Nikki Jennings, Kole Wetzler and Alec Wetzler; her great grandchild Luke Long; and her siblings, Mary Armstrong (late Earl), Nadine Mues (late Ray), Herbie Hesler, Easter Hartgraver (Robert), Dorothy Kersting (Pete) and Myrtle Boain (Walter).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Robin Meyerkord Memorial Scholarship at Truman State University or to Memory Home Care Solutions (memorycarehs.org), a non-profit guiding families through the journey of Alzheimer's with their loved ones.
