He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Irlander and Rosalia Helena; his former wife Margaret Ann; his daughter Linda Marie Smothers (James); his sister Dolores Helen Roth (Herman); and his aunt Gertrude Hess (August).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kelly Marie Holt, Eric Michael Radel, Brian Joseph Radel, Joseph Anthony Wiersbicki, Matthew James Wiersbicki and John Michael Wiersbicki; his great grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Holt, Kaitlyn Marie Holt and Michael Steven Radel; and his children, Ron, Wendy and Dee. He is also survived by three stepchildren, eleven more grandchildren, nineteen more great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
