He is survived by: his spouse Sue Burns; his children, Rick Burns (Lora), Don Burns (Dawn) and Terrie Peterson; his grandchildren, Jessica Sauerbelich, Nichol Romanski, Shannon Peterson, Emily Burns, Elizabeth Burns and Michael Peterson of Jake Burns; his great grandchildren, Savana Sauerbelich, Sofia Sauerbelich, Kinsley Romanski and Pailyn Romanski; and his parents, John Francis Burns, Sr. and Ida Mae Burns.
