He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander J. Chapie and Opal J. Chapie; and his brother Allan Chapie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Chapie of Wentzville, Missouri; his daughters, Katie Chapie, Kelly Chapie, Laura Brittenham (Jerel) and Lisa Helm (Ryan); his brother Steve Chapie; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Blake and Mila.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM at the Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church-Wentzville (405 S Church St, Wentzville, MO 63385). The inurnment was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the St. Patrick Cemetery (405 S Church St, Wentzville, MO 63385).
