He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Adolf Saffley and Freida Loretta Saffley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Saffley of Wentzville, Missouri.; his daughters, Sandra (Hernandez), Donna (Eilerman) and Suzanne (Beckerman); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Amy, Kristen, Ben, Alex, Jordan, Brianna and Brett.
