With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E Hoffmann of Wentzville, Missouri, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hoffmann and Mary Irene Hoffmann; and his siblings, Don Hoffmann and Ola Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hoffmann; his children, Jim Hoffmann (Laura) of Searcy, AR, Jamie Eye (Darrell) of Highland Village, TX and Jana Hauk (Matt) of Wentzville, MO.; his grandchildren, Rachel Ashley (Nathan), Luke Hoffmann (Chloe), Stephen Hoffmann (Hannah), Megan Gunn (Bob), Jake Eye (Dawn), Jared Eye, Chris Hauk and Nate Hauk; his great grandchildren, James Ashley, Kate Ashley, Ezra Hoffmann, Ike Hoffmann, Izzie Ortiz, Callie Gunn, Carson Eye and Cooper Eye; and his sisters, Minnie Gillam and Mary Shults.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ridgecrest Baptist Cemetery (610 Powell Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bishop Cemetery.
