He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Grelle and Anna C. Grelle (Gerry Grelle); and his siblings, Robert Grelle, Betty Meyer, Margie Howard and Bubbles Wesloh.

He is survived by: his spouse Gerry Grelle; his children, Matt Grelle of O' Fallon, MO, Brian Grelle (Margarita) of Wentzville, MO, Jeff Grelle of St. Charles, MO, James Grelle of Saint Louis, MO, Renee Henningfeld (Terry) of St. Paul, MO and Anne Henke (Brett) of Troy, MO; his sister Kathy Schaefer of Chesterfield, MO; his siblings-in-law, Richard Howard of Vienna, MO and Dorothy Grelle of Bella Vista, AR; and his grandchildren, Jesse, Lauren, Emily, Jenifer, Katie, Michael, Adam, Aaron, Kyle, Payton and McKenzie. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
