He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stokes and Lelia Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stokes; his daughters, Diane Stokes and Heather Hamlin; his stepchildren, Pat Richards, Cherie Stanaland, Vickie Ortiz, Scott and Brad Richards; and his siblings, Billie Rae Stokes, Kenny Stokes, Bill Stokes, Eunice Bates, Lucy Albertson and Mark Stokes. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
