She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Deakin (Harrison) and William Deakin; and her siblings, John Deakin, William Deakin, Linda Deakin of Susquehanna, PA. and Beatrice Eichenberg of Susquehanna, PA..
She is survived by: her husband David A. Medlar of Wentzville, MO; her sons, David S Medlar (Rebecca) of Wentzville, MO, Michael Medlar (Erin) of Churchville, NY and Jeffrey Medlar (Denise) of North East, MD; her grandchildren, Lauren (Ian), Zackary, Adam, Luke and Nicholas; her sister Joyce Neidlinger (Royce) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and her siblings-in-law, Beth Deakin and Terry Eichenberg of Susquehanna, PA. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to Tunnel to Towers and Disabled American Veterans True Heroes.
