She was predeceased by: her husband Charles L. Rodgers; her parents, Cleveland Newsome and Della Newsome; her sons, Eddie Rodgers, Michael Rodgers (late Chris Rodgers), David Rodgers and Kenny Rodgers; and her siblings, Billy Gene Newsome, Bobby Ray Newsome, Dorothy Gourley and Margie Joe Newsome.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia "Cyndi" J. Wahle (Gary), Robin Welker (Mike), Mark Rodgers (Becky) and Jillanne Cornevin (Bruce); her children-in-law, Beth Rodgers and Leslie Rodgers-Dennis (Brad); and her sister-in-law Marietta Newsome.
