It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Stephens of Wentworth, Missouri, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sterling Ray Stephens; her grandson Trenton Stephens; and her siblings, Irene Hutchenson, Melvin McDonald and Stanley McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Melford Leon Stephens (Nancy) of Kansas City, Keith Stephens (Lorna) of Wheaton and Nelda Kay Reardon (Eugene) of Wentworth, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Angel Marie Nottage of Matthew Stephens, B. J, Aram Stephens, Nicole Brown and Ashley Mize. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home (211 N 9th St, Sarcoxie, MO 64862). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at the Sarcoxie Cemetery.
