With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wesley Allen Angel of Wellsville, Missouri, born in Middletown, Missouri, who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Asa "Buck" and Mary Elizabeth Angel (Watson); his wife Darlene Elizabeth Smith; his daughter Brenda Angel Harms; his siblings, Nellie Ruth Angel, Mary Elliott, James Asa "Jitterbug" Angel Jr., James Marion "Bud" Angel and Robert Lee "Bob" Angel; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Gentry, Evelyn Angel, Billy Joe Gentry and Robert Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Angel of Mexico, Carrie Angel (Karl Macke) of Fulton and Bonnie Angel (David Jennings) of Bowling Green; his brothers, Paul Dean Angel (Cindy) of Couch, Alfred Joe Angel of Middletown and William "Willie" Angel of Middletown; his siblings-in-law, Lester Smith (Sandra) of Montgomery City, Maggie Smith of Wellsville and Donna Angel of Middletown; his grandsons, Matthew Harms (Shannon) of Crestview, Fla., Daniel Callahan (Jenn Meyer) of Mexico and Clayton Callahan of Kingdom City; his great grandchildren, Kameryn Harms of Tampa Fla, Ashlyn Harms of Ramstein, AFB, Germany, Ayden Callahan of Mexico and Paul Callahan of Kingdom City; his stepgrandson Randall Wansing (Candice) of St. Peters; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jessica and Elliott Wansing of St. Peters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Montgomery County Senior Center for "Meals on Wheels".
