He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Estell Foster and Frances Foster (Nation); his wife Barbara Canterbury; his daughter Melanie Gipson of Wellsville; his sister Rose Scheidle (Ed) of Imperial, Missouri; his sister-in-law Dixie Foster of St. Ann; his grandchildren, Ashley Owen (Dustin) of Middletown, Autumn Gipson of St. Charles, K. J. Gipson of Middletown, Robert Bextermueller and Jackson Bextermueller of Wentzville; his great grandchildren, Elijah Owen, Lindell Owen and Victoria Jones; his daughter Melissa Jo Bextermueller; and his siblings, Charles Foster and Mary Giger. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home (203 E Bates St, Wellsville, MO 63384). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wellsville Cemetery Association.
