She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ray and Laura Ray (Skaggs). She is survived by: her husband Larry Davis; her sons, Jimmy Davis (Dana) of Wellington, Michael Davis (Chong) of Wellington and Barry Davis (Gretchen) of Odessa; her sister Mary Sue Schreier (Donald) of Lexington; and her friends, Cindy and Tony Heathman of Osceola, Missouri. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth requested memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
