He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jesse and Juanita Iola Gash (Deatherage); his spouse Shirley Ann Carter; his daughter-in-law Martha Gash; and his brothers, Everett Gash and Tommy Gash.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Gash, Jr. of Odessa, Timothy Gash of Kansas City and Julia Clay; his grandchildren, Joshua Collom, Jennifer Sapp, William Gash, Lauren Gash, Kelly Clay, Jr. and Jessie Gash; and his sister Linda Todson.
