He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel McCurry and Velma McCurry (Dotson); and his siblings, Robert, Wayne, Wayman and Thelma.
He is survived by: his children, Mark McCurry (Kari) of Lexington and Jennifer Watkins (John) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Megan Christophene, Grace McCurry and Addie Watkins; and his brother Ronald McCurry of Mesquite.
