It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Gayle Calloway of Webster Groves, Missouri, born in Centertown, Kentucky, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Calloway and Lucille Calloway; and his siblings, Marvin Calloway, Jerry Calloway, Keith Calloway and Pat Deskin (Wilbur).
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Calloway; his daughter Liz Gooch (Steve) of Science Hill; his grandchildren, Ryan Gooch (Karlin) and Daniel Gooch; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Calloway and Kay Calloway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with numerous extended family and friends.
