He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grace Ann (Hamm); his sons, Robert Jr. (Linda), Scott and Brett (Norene); his grandsons, Robert III, John, Sam and Ian; and his brother Jim.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the St. Louis Shriners Hospital or the Siteman Cancer Center.
