He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Moire and Beatrice E. Moire of Queens; his daughter Ellen E. Moire; and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his children, Douglas J. Moire, Jacqueline A. Hillebrand (Matthew), Jennifer A. Moire, Kenneth P. Moire (Julia Koelsch) and Andrew P. Moire; his granddaughter Elise Moire Hillebrand of Corvallis, Oregon; and his brothers, James Moire (Ann) and David Moire of Birmingham.
