“I was fortunate in meeting Mr. Sheahan just a few days before his passing. We had a wonderful chat. He told me about serving our nation during WWII, his friend and fellow serviceman who was recently featured in the Webster Kirkwood Times and their time together at Algonquin. Especially moving was the loving manner in speaking about his wife, eight children and living in their Webster Groves home for more than 60 years. It was an enlightening evening. Offering my condolences to his family, Betsy”
