She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Selmer Brekke and Eva Brekke; her husband Edward Essig; her children, Sue Marie, Bradley Essig (Patrice) of Webster Groves, MO, Ann O'Connell (Mark) of Washington, IL and Kelli Lauschke (James) of Alton, IL.; her grandchildren, Grant Essig (Lauren), Andrew Essig (Kelley), Christopher Lauschke, Sarah Gray (Brandon), Benjamin Lauschke and William O'Connell (Dana); and her brother Richard Brekke.
