He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Grimmer (Allen); his grandson David Jr. (Jennifer); his children, Max, Freddie, Lucy, Julie (Josh), Megan and Nate; his niece Stephanie Rutledge (Don); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nic and Brady; his nephew Brian Rowell (Ba); and his great-niece Olivia.
