He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Keri L. Ems; his children, Meredith Luethy (Ryan), John Ems (Ellen), Jeffrey Ems (Nicole) and Thomas Ems; his grandchildren, Sophia, Jack Luethy, Grayson and Oliver Ems; his sibling Tracy Purk; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Mayrose (Bud) and Jeffrey Brubaker (Brenda).
