He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Carter and Cora Carter (Staley); his wife Anita Carter (Bland); and his children, Buddy Lee Carter of California, Dianne Miller (Gary) of California, Ronald Carter of Carterville and Nita Carter of Carthage, Missouri. He was also cherished by his 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
