It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel L. Claussen (Webb City, Missouri), born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Claussen and Betty Claussen; his wife Pamela Claussen; his children, Jessie Smith, Joshua Claussen and Brandon Claussen; his grandchildren, Dylan Smith and Kaylyn Smith; and his siblings, Kathy Lowe and Mark Claussen.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the US Forest Service Plant-A-Tree Program or to the Cancer Research Institute in Sam's name.
