He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mason Thurlo and Maude Thurlo; his wife Barbara Thurlo (Lowery); his sons, Rob Thurlo (Dana) of Webb City and Craig Thurlo (Michelle) of Webb City; his brother Jim Warren of Webb City; his grandchildren, Kaleb Forkner, Kallie Thurlo, Dylan Williams, Dalton Thurlo and Destiny Thurlo; and his great grandchild Greyson Thompson.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
