It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ellen Bess of Webb City, Missouri, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Whitworth and Sarah Elizabeth Whitworth (Garrett); her husband Lee Bess, Jr.; and her brothers, Jim, Glenn and Dean Whitworth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Logan of Webb City and Rayla Kanakis (Jim) of Webb City; her grandchildren, Adria Trombley (Justin), Shane Logan (Tish) and Alex Kanakis (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Rylan, Launa, Aubry and Jaxson; her siblings, Kenneth Whitworth (Barb) of South Carolina and Maymie Williams of Oronogo; and also Carol Cobaugh of Diamond, Missouri..
