He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Reeves and Loraine Reeves (Pitchford); his spouse Kent; his daughter Karen Denise Brownfield; his granddaughters, Kortlynn Renee Cristy Burgess (Tyler), Kaylee Jean Cristy Gatlin (Alex), Abby Elaine Brownfield and Kathryn Elizabeth Brownfield; his siblings-in-law, Ed, Lori, Silvia Sumpter and Emma Reeves; his nieces and nephews, Michael Sumpter, Scott Sumpter, Tyler Oberley, Nathan Oberley, Steve Reeves, Rick Reeves, Tony Tindall, Gretchen Sumpter Irwin, Leigh Ann Sumpter Goswick, Cindy Fields, Becky Pedigo and Nancy Wells; his daughter Wendy Johnson; his grandsons, Maddy and Phoenix Johnson; his mother-in-law Thomas; and his brother-in-law Danny Sumpter.
