He is survived by: his wife Norma Soard; and his children, James Soard, Jr. (Audrey) of Carthage, Darold Soard of Joplin, Brenda Soard of Peace Valley, Christina Osborn (Anthony) of Webb City and Mike Soard (Rachel) of Neosho. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
