She was predeceased by: her father Simon Chavez; and her daughter Misty Dawn Garza. She is survived by: her mother Irene Chavez; her siblings, Bobby Chavez, Danny Chavez, Simon Chavez, John Chavez, Rebecca Partida, Rose Rodriguez, Stella Guerrero and Virginia Pauda; her daughters, Shanna (Emory Mitchell) and Ariel (Ryan Lewis); and her grandsons, Derek Garza and Brandon Garza. She is also survived by nine grand-children, one great-grandchild and many other family and friends.
