He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Wood and Evelyn Wood (Stirewalt); his siblings, Patricia Plank of Webb City and Lyndell (Judy Wood) of Golden City; his wife Grace Ann of Carthage; his children, Mark (Marie Wood) of Springfield, Lisa (Mark Strader) of Springfield and Chuck (Gayle Wood) of Carthage; and his grandchildren, Andrea (Richard Deussen) of Irvine, CA, Benjamin Watt of Ventura, CA, Ethan Watt of Springfield, Mark Wood of St. Louis, Charles Wood, Gracie Wood and Annaleigh Wood of Carthage. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Flower Bible Church Building Fund in his memory.
