He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Pierson and Mary Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hiley; his children, Michele Lawson (Tim) of Richmond, Sherri Overton (Mike) of Bentonville and Lora Sanders (Gary) of Frederick, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Dustin Johnson, Taylor Overton and Tannor Overton; and his brother Wayne Pierson (Margaret) of Maryville, Missouri.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
