He is survived by: his mother Tammy Irene Ashwood (David) of Waynesville; his children, Gracelyn Ann Shafer (Lindsey Richey) of Devil's Elbow, Missouri, Tryce Wayne Morgan Shafer of Lebanon and Mercedes Marie Shafer of Lebanon; his stepchildren, Jeremiah James Dewaine McMains of Lebanon, Justin Tyler, Jayden Michael and Nate Ryan McMains; his sisters, BeLinda Jade Widzins (Kyle) of Nixa, Missouri, Diana Marie Phinney Shafer of St. Louis, Janet Irene Phinney Shafer (Justin Williams) of Lebanon and Stephanie Nunez (Art); his grandmothers, Mary Ann Shafer of Waynesville and Arlene Shafer (John) of Mapleton, Kansas; and the mothers of children, Tryce, Mercedes and Wendy Rhoades Shafer. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
