She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Edwin and Shirley Swanson (Wilson); her son Richard; and her daughter-in-law Crystal Ahlen. She is survived by: her husband Mike Sammons of Wayland, Missouri; her children, Brenda Coleman (John) of Neosho, Missouri, Craig Ahlen (Bobby) of Fort Madison and Michelle Kruse (Nick) of Fort Madison; and her sister Sharon Epperson (Don) of Fort Madison. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
