He is survived by: his children, Donald of Overland Park, KS, Connie Plattner (Daryl) of Marshall, MO, Steve of Liberty, MO and Brian (Jeanette) of Lewis Center, OH.; his grandchildren, Julie Plattner, Suzie Plattner, Aaron Brecht, Ashley Hempy (Mike) and D. J. Brecht; his great grandchildren, Mallorie, Jaysen and Gabriella Hempy; and his siblings, Margaret Harmon and Alan Kemerling.
