He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Arth and Elaine Arth; and his brothers, Donald Arth and Bob Arth. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Closterman; his daughters, Mischelle Gibson (Dean) of Clarksburg and Melissa Knipp (Dion) of Tipton; his grandchildren, Elyse Hartley (Tyler), Abigail Lynch (Chris), Seth Gibson (Brooklynn), Zachary Knipp and Carter Knipp; his great grandchildren, Mary Emma Hartley, Vivian Hartley and Millie Lynch; and his siblings, Carol Kuntz of Springfield, Gary Arth (Heather) of Marshall, Mike Arth (Shelly) of Grand Pass and Susan Watson (Dennis) of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church or Saint John Cemetery in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
