It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Darby of Waverly, Missouri, born in Carrollton, Missouri, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Calvert and Gladys Calvert (Hawkins); her husband David Nelson Darby; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Darby (Pace). She is survived by: her daughter Donna Jean Miller (Pence) of Grain Valley; her grandchildren, Tara Spilker (Nate) of Overland Park, Kelly Metz (Scott) of Carrollton, Lindsey Thomas (Wade) of Liberty and Dustin Darby (Kelsy) of Lone Jack, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Link, Isabelle Spilker, Ella, Milo Metz, Leo Thomas, Kain, Kamille Darby, Lily, Cedar Metz, Noah and Aiden Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, or Midwest Animal ResQ in Raytown, Missouri who lovingly took her cats when she moved from her home to Life Care.
