He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Lee Hoyle and Mildred Hoyle (Young). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne Hoyle; his daughters, Jennifer Starr Feighert (Luke) of Harrison and Heather Joy Heard (Matt) of Grain Valley, Missouri; his brothers, Lee Hoyle (Kathy) of Virginia and Ned Hoyle of Iowa; and his grandchildren, Colton Simpson, Corbin Simpson, Easton Feighert, Morgan Heard, Pierce Heard and Roman Heard.

“Doug was a high school buddy of mine in Middletown, NJ. Last time I saw Doug was 50 years ago when I came to Sedalia, Mo for a Rock Concert. Over the years we would email each other phone each other. We would reminisce about our motorcycles., cars, our trip to Canada for the Strawberry Fields music festival and all the other crazy things we did. What I remember most was how much we laughed when spoke to each other. My condolences go out to Barbara and family. yI will miss Doug so much.”
