He is survived by: his wife Diann; his sons, Mike Whitacre (Jeanine) and Mitch Whitacre (Patty Draves); his stepchildren, Jennifer Rudder (Christian Walton) and Hamble-Le-Rice; his grandchildren, Andrew Whitacre, Taylor Whitacre, Hannah Whitacre, Shelby Whitacre and Hayden Jent-Wolff; his great grandchild Sophia Marczenko; his nephews, Morgan Whitacre and Ross Whitacre; and his in-laws, Marie Whitacre, Fred Pecka, Brenda, Donnie Meyer, Margie, Al Wildt, Bobbi, Rusty Gipson, Jenny, Jim Hartman, Mary Jo, Rick Runyan, Nancy, Tim Riegel, Gloria, Leroy Eggert, Debbie, Steve Garbs, Becky, Donna, Rich Speckhals, Cindy Hall, Christine, Chris Piontek and Judy Straatmann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
