He is survived by: his significant other Sonja Loudenback of Leawood, Kansas; his children, Cynthia Logan (Bradley) of Platte City, Michael Lyon (Gloria) of Acworth, Georgia, David Lyon (Laura) of Denver and Nicole Brown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his stepchildren, Shawn Mitchell (Kathy) of Brighton, Troy Mitchell (Robyn) of Wapello and Jodi Bowman (Joey) of Clinton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ashley Logan, Makayla Lyon, Eric Lyon, Inez Lyon, Michael Lyon, Austin Lyon, Alek Boeding, Morgan Brown and Ian Sportel; and his sister Carol Stanton of Seymour. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
