She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Alfermann and Gertrude; her husband Pete Gildehaus; and her siblings, Marilyn "Dickie" Alfermann and Donald Alfermann.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Slaten (Eddie) of Sikeston, Brian Gildehaus (Sherry) of Broken Arrow, OK, Brenda Cochran (Brian) of St. James, Joe Gildehaus (Cathie) of Dutzow and Michele Gildehaus of St. Charles; her siblings, David Alfermann (Cheryl) of Washington, Melba Peters (Ralph) of Washington, Carolyn McCoy of Washington and Marilyn Giddings (David) of Springfield, MO; her grandchildren, Emily Slaten (Andrew Fay), Matthew Slaten, David Gildehaus and Mario Kriete (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Ian Fay, Connor Fay, Chase Kriete and Blaze Kriete; and her sister-in-law Diana Alfermann. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
