Robert J. Himmelberg Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert J. Himmelberg of Washington, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Himmelberg and Elizabeth; his parents-in-law, Frank and Frances Buhr; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Durchholz, Betty Kampschroeder and Helen Buhr.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Himmelberg of Washington; his children, Robert S. Himmelberg of Washington and Jill Ruether (David) of Washington; his sister Annette Durchholz of Washington; his grandchildren, Ben Ruether (Becky) of Washington, Natalie Moran (Spencer) of Las Vegas, Tommy Ruether of New York and John Himmelberg of Columbia, MO; his great grandchildren, Fredrick Ruether and Elke Moran; his in-laws, Mary Baucom (Bill), Leon Buhr, John Buhr (Linda), Kelly Schweissguth (Burt) and Vicky Dotson (Fred) of Florida; and his brother-in-law Ed Kampschroeder of North Carolina.
