She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Hecktor and Della Hecktor; and her brother Melvin 'Bud Hecktor. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Gildehaus of Washington; her children, Kevin Gildehaus (Susan) of Washington, Mark Gildehaus (Kim) of Belle, Brad Gildehaus (Lisa) of Catawissa, Todd Gildehaus (Sandy) of Washington and Pam Brinkmann (George) of Washington; and her siblings, Gladys Menke, Mary Heimann, Wilma Ridder, Theresa Gildehaus, Linda Voss, Doris Schmitt, Alice Brinker and Paul Hecktor. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Immaculate Conception Church.
