It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael W. Haas of Washington, Missouri, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Haas and JoAnn Sleadd; his brother David Haas; and his brother-in-law Earl Schuessler. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Haas of Washington; his children, Jason Harris (Melia) of Crestwood, Jeffrey Harris (Brittany) of Washington, James Haas (Kenzi) of Fayetteville, GA and Stacia Harris Dodson (Brian) of St. Clair; his stepfather Robert Sleadd of Round Rock, TX; his sister Christine Schuessler of Jefferson City, MO; his grandchildren, Madyson, Trinity, Parker, Grace, Charlie, Jackson, Talon, Benjamin, Cecilia, Cooper, Kade and Freyja; and his in-laws, Patricia Haas of Colorado Springs, CO, Sharon King (Jim), Patricia Sowadski (John), Barbara Ray (James), James Suerig (Debbie), Linda Homire (Steve), Cathy Fowler (Bob), Janie Mathena (Rick), Helen Farrar, Ron Suerig (Jodi) and Ada Broam (Ken). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1206 Jefferson St, Washington, MO 63090). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
