He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carstens; his daughters, Jody Skyles (James) of Lake Sherwood, MO and Lori Hansen (John) of Arizona; his sister Delores Wiese of Nebraska; his sister-in-law Peggy Mascher (Ivan) of Nebraska; and his brothers, Roger Carstens (Judy) of Nebraska and Donald Carstens (Bernice) of Nebraska. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation.
