She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Thomas Carson and Lucille Carson (Jacobson); her husband Max Meeks; her parents-in-law, Everett and Mary L. Meeks; her brother John Carson (Jack); and her sister-in-law Pat Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Loftin (Quinn Springfield) and Thomas Meeks Springfield; her siblings, Bill and Christine Carson; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Meeks (Malinda) of Oskaloosa, IA and Lewis Meeks (Cathi) of Iowa City, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In place of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Republic Branch of the Springfield Greene County Library.
