It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois A. Martin of Washington, Missouri, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hencke and Louise Hencke (Dierkes); and her siblings, Richard, Donald, Mary and Lucy.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Martin; her brother Paul Hencke (Jeannye); and her children, Jane Finnegan (VA), Ellen Polete (MO), Barb Heger (MO), Ann Rost (MO), Greig (FL), Paul (KS) and David (ID). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Washington (508 E 14th St, Washington, MO 63090). Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (1014 Madison Ave, Washington, MO 63090). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ascension Cemetery (5563 Country Club Rd, Washington, MO 63090). A reception was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (1121 Columbus Ln, Washington, MO 63090).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Birthright, or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
